讲座内容摘要:It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.” – A quote by a well-known author named Alan Cohen. This has been my driving force in my life to guide me in many decisions making in life. In this talk, I will share my personal education experience, my research experience as a graduate student at MIT, my career as a scientist in A*STAR, my faculty experience at SUTD, and my recent directorship for Future Communications R&D Programme. Hopefully, this can serve as learning lesson, especially in the world of uncertainties now.
